Hand of the Gods Closed Beta

Hand of the Gods: SMITE Tactics is now entering a closed beta! The card game based off the SMITE MOBA is now available to try out if you’re a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold member. By participating in the beta, you’ll get a promotional bundle with five card packs, a unique Leader Skin, and more.

Hi-Rez Studios has more information about the closed beta:

The beta for Hand of the Gods kicks off by offering special bundles for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members–including FREE access to the Closed Beta for those members!

Starting today, PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members can receive the Hand of the Gods promotional bundle for free! Each bundle features a unique Leader Skin and also includes an Exclusive Card Back and Player Icon. In addition, the bundle includes five Core Packs to give new players a jump start in building their decks.

Hand of the Gods blends the deep customization and planning of a collectible card game with the strategic play of a board game and delivers a unique experience to console audiences. Players build a deck from a large variety of cards to their tastes and then pit their decks against an opponent in one-on-one battle. Hand of the Gods features seven unique Leaders, including the brand-new Hindu pantheon Leader, Ganesha, and beautiful cards that come to life on the battlefield once played.

There’s also a trailer to celebrate the beta launch:

Finally, here’s more about Hand of the Gods:

Hand of the Gods: SMITE Tactics is a turn-based, one-vs-one strategy game set in the same mythological universe as the hit MOBA, SMITE. Players build decks of cards that spawn units onto a fully 3D battlefield, rendered with Unreal Engine 4. Each pantheon has its own unique leader ability and pantheon specific cards that can be combined with neutral cards to support a variety of playstyles. Hand of the Gods is in Open Beta on PC and Closed Beta on consoles.
