Bandai Namco has today released two new DLC playable mobile suits for Gundam Versus, which are Alvaaron from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Buster Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. To mark this occasion, they have also just published new gameplay trailers for each of them, which you can watch at the top and bottom of this article respectively.
Alvaaron is the boss mobile suit of Gundam 00‘s first season which was originally docked inside the mobile armor Alvatore, and it is piloted by Alejandro Corner. Meanwhile, Buster Gundam is one of the four Gundams that were hijacked by ZAFT at the beginning of the Gundam SEED show. It is piloted by Dearka Elthman, and it officially joins Duel Gundam (with Assault Shroud) and Blitz Gundam, leaving Athrun Zala’s Aegis Gundam as the only remaining Gundam not included in Gundam Versus as of yet.
Gundam Versus has been released worldwide exclusively on PlayStation 4 with a base roster of 94 mobile suits. Before Alvaaron and Buster Gundam, Bandai Namco had previously released 10 DLC mobile suits in the last three months: Gundam Barbatos Lupus, Gundam Virtue, G-Self Perfect Pack, Baund Doc, Pale Rider, Gundam Gusion Rebake, Perfect Strike Gundam, Phantom Gundam, Nightingale, and Gundam AGE-1.
If you also count the pre-order exclusive Hot Scramble Gundam, Gundam Versus has a current total of 107 playable mobile suits, provided that you pre-ordered the game and bought every single mobile suit DLC for it.
