Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, and it’s pretty long! Clocking in at over five minutes, the Japanese trailer has a healthy mix of animation and gameplay bits. Chamber of Time will release early next year on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Here is the trailer. While in Japanese, you can still glean a fair bit of information from it:
If you do need something in English, though, here’s an overview of Chamber in Time:
Having been inspired by a famous witch named Shiny Chariot, an ordinary girl named Atsuko (Akko) Kagari enrolls at Luna Nova Magical Academy, a prestigious school for young girls training to become witches. Before starting summer vacation, Akko and her new classmates find out about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries. Now it’s up to Akko as she takes on the adventure to unravel the mystery surrounding the Seven Wonders.
There’s also a bit more detailed information on the game’s story:
After finishing their final exam, the students of the Luna Nova Academy are about to leave for summer vacation. Akko discovers a secret room in the library that leads to the Chamber of Horologium, hidden in the basement of the school. Within the chamber is a clock that uses a forbidden magic to manipulate time; it’s one of the seven wonders of the Luna Nova Academy. Akko and her friends end up trapped in a time loop, re-living the same day over and over and over and over… Will they be able to escape this time paradox and solve all of the mysteries of the Academy?
Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time will release in early 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
