PSA: Sledgehammer Acknowledges and Resolving Issues Caused By Call of Duty: WWII Patch 1.05

The latest Call of Duty: WWII patch (1.05) was meant to tweak the game’s multiplayer but has unfortunately resulted in players experiencing more issues including frequent disconnections. Additionally, many players have reported on Reddit that they’re unable to start a match altogether.

Both Activision and Sledgehammer have acknowledged the issues caused by update 1.05, and have been working to resolve them. So if you’re one of those who’re having trouble with the game’s multiplayer, then stay put. According to the latest update from Sledgehammer, the team is currently working to restore dedicated servers (which were taken offline to improve connectivity), and are conducting tests to avoid further interruptions. “We’ll update as soon as possible,” they promised.

If you were experiencing issues prior to the aforementioned patch, then make sure to take a look at the current list of known problems (updated November 9) for an update on their status as many of them are still under investigation.

Multiplayer issues aside, Call of Duty: WWII continues to outperform its predecessor, boasting one of the best-selling weekends in the series. For more on the game, check out our review.
