The Latest Update for Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War Mode Adds a New Mode and Class, is Out Now

Today, Ubisoft announced the development schedule for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP. Essentially, the schedule operates as a detailed list of what Ubisoft plans on rolling out for the game mode, and it all starts today with the release of the Interference update to the game.

To start, the first major – and free – update to the mode, titled Interference, is now available, and includes new a brand new game mode, a new class, and a total of 6 new maps. The game mode, Uplink, is a 4v4 objective-based game mode that involves teams fighting for control of an access point found in the center of the map. In the free update today, players will not only get the mode, but the four exclusive maps that come with it, as well as the brand new Assault class The Disruptor:

  • Uplink: A 4v4 objective-based mode in which rival teams fight for the control of an access point situated at the center of the map. Building upon Ghost War’s class gameplay and unique mechanics, Uplink comes with four exclusive maps and will incite players to adapt their playstyles and come up with new strategies.
  • The Disruptor: A new Assault class available in all PvP modes expands the Ghost War roster to 14 unique classes. The Disruptor provides players with new tactical options when building their squad. Equipped with a jamming device, the Disruptor creates chaos and opportunities by interfering with the enemy HUD, including the team’s markers, mini-map information and notifications.

There’s some other goodies for players to find in the update, including new gear and gameplay tuning, all of which can be found by heading over to the Ghost Recon website. For a full look at the roadmap Ubisoft has laid out for fans, make sure to check out the image above.
