Writers Guild of Great Britain Awards

Battlefield 1 and Hellblade Nominated for Writers Guild of Great Britain Awards

Two popular PlayStation 4 titles have been nominated for Best Writing in a Video Game at the 2018 Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards. Both Battlefield 1 and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice are up for the prestigious award, which will be given out January 15, 2018 at the Royal College of Physicians in central London. Also up for the award is Mike Bithell for his work on Subsurface Circular (PC).

“I am enormously pleased and proud of the Writers’ Guild Award shortlists announced today,” said Writers’ Guild of Great Britain President Olivia Hetreed. “They represent the best of British writing by the best writers across the full range of dramatic and comic writing. And they are all selected by working writers in their own field. It is that judgement by your peers that makes these Awards unique and uniquely special to the winners.”
