Here’s more on the chaotic multiplayer game, which releases next week:

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Gang Beasts will finally be making its way to the PlayStation 4 this year after a long wait of anticipation. In the PlayStation Blog announcing the game, James Spafford – the Community manager of Double Fine Productions – took to the comment section and confirmed that Gang Beasts will be receiving PlayStation VR support sometime after launch as part of a free update.

Responding to a comment that lamented no announcement regarding VR support, Spafford replied “PSVR support will come some time after launch as a free update :),” which should hopefully alleviate any concerns players had. Spafford also confirmed that the game will cost $19.99 when it launches in about two weeks, so you have some time to save up.

When the game launches next month, it will include several new modes for players to jump into, including the two vs. two soccer matches, and a cooperative mode where four players must fight it out against a wave of enemies.

Gang Beasts releases December 12 for PlayStation 4. It’s already available on PC. It’ll gain PlayStation VR support “after launch as a free update.”
