Sharknado VR Is the Best Thing You’ll See All Day

The Sharknado series may have (tragically) ended, but fear not! Autumn VR will bless us with Sharknado VR: Eye of the Storm, and it looks like to continue the series’ legacy of combining horror and comedy. No word yet on whether Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will make an appearance, however.

Based on this trailer, the chainsaw features prominently in Sharkado VR: Eye of the Storm, as well it should. You will also have an arsenal of weapons at your disposal, though only quick glimpses are shown in the video. There also seems to be an element of resource management and some sort of currency system.

Not much actual gameplay is shown. From the looks of it, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of movement involved. It would be nice if Sharknado VR: Eye of the Storm had a little more action than what we saw, but as long as you can fight sharks, I’m not complaining. Autumn VR has also said that players will be facing off against ferocious sea creatures like barracudas and jellyfish.

Sharknado VR: Eye of the Storm will release sometime in 2018, though an exact date was not given. It will be available for the PlayStation VR. It will also be released on the PC and both iOS and Android devices.
