Final Fantasy XIV’s Halloween Event is Now Live

Final Fantasy XIV is the latest game to get its spooky on. Square-Enix has announced that the annual Halloween event for the online RPG, “All Saints’ Wake,” is now live. Make sure you’ve brought your best costume with you! With over 14 million players, it’s sure to be a graveyard smash!

If you’ve been playing Final Fantasy XIV for the last few years, you’ll know the event means the return of The Continental Circus. It has come once again to Gridania, bringing its usual tricks and treats along with it. Everywhere around you is covered head to toe with a spooky atmosphere, and travelers everywhere are dressed in their Halloween best.

Of course, a new event means new items for you to acquire. You’ll be able to whip up the Pumpkin Pastry Platter, Pumpkin Pastry Pennants, and more! You can also cover up your walls with the Familiar Pawprints, although hopefully whoever left them isn’t close by. You can also get your hands on some new minions, the Little Ying and Little Yang.

Of course, not everything may be what it seems. There may be some tricksters who have something a little more sinister up their sleeves. However, don’t fear, because the Adventurers’ Guild is on the case. To take part in the event, you need to be at least Level 15, and the “It’s Probably Pirates” quest needs to be completed.

If you haven’t made it that far yet, don’t worry! The event will last through the rest of October, ending on November 1, 2018.
