Mortal Kombat 25th anniversary

Report: October 2021’s PlayStation Plus Games Are Mortal Kombat X, Hell Let Loose, and PGA Tour 2K21

Dealabs user billbil-kun, who accurately leaked September 2021’s PlayStation Plus lineup, has now reported that October’s lineup includes Mortal Kombat X (PlayStation 4), Hell Let Loose (PlayStation 5), and PGA Tour 2K21 (PlayStation 4).

Considering billbil-kun’s history, it’s likely that this is legit, but we’re marking this as a report and ask our readers to take it with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made.

While Mortal Kombat X and PGA 2K21 need no introduction, Hell Let Loose is an upcoming World War II first-person shooter pegged for an October 5th launch following a PS5 beta. The game will feature over nine maps, 50-versus-50 multiplayer, and 14 playable roles to choose from, among other features.

An official overview reads:

Fight in the most iconic battles of the Western Front, including Carentan, Omaha Beach and Foy and more. This is combat at a whole new scale… with lumbering tanks dominating the battlefield, crucial supply chains fueling the frontlines, you are a cog in the machine of colossal combined arms warfare. Hell Let Loose puts you in the chaos of war, complete with deep player-controlled vehicles, a dynamically evolving front line, and crucial unit-focused gameplay that commands the tide of battle.

Featuring more than nine sweeping maps modelled on real reconnaissance images and satellite data, the entire battlefield is divided up into large capture sectors – allowing for emergent and constantly unique gameplay that pits two forces of fifty players in a fight to the death across fields, bridges, forests and towns on an ever-evolving front line.

We’ll update our readers when October’s lineup is confirmed.
