100-Hr PSVR MMO Zenith: The Last City Out Soon

Ambitious virtual reality MMO Zenith: The Last City will release on PSVR, Oculus Quest and Rift, and Steam on January 27th. The open-world game will support cross-play across all platforms and will cost $29.99 upon release.

Interestingly, developer RamenVR has warned that January 27th is an “estimated” launch date for Zenith, and is subject to change. “We are working as hard as we can to hit it,” the studio wrote under its announcement trailer.

What is Zenith: The Last City all about?

Zenith tells a tale of gods and mortals scrambling to prevent cataclysmic events after one called “The Fracture” left things in ruins eons ago. Players will be equipped with the power of “Essence” that allows them to become stronger while exploring the world with other players, fighting numerous villains along the way.

RamenVR has promised a strong cast of characters in a beautiful fantasy world with robust traversal and combat alongside extensive customization options.

Zenith will offer 100 hours of gameplay at launch

RamenVR previously promised 100 hours of gameplay at launch and a constantly evolving world with more content coming post launch. “Zenith is a VR MMO inspired by our favorite animes and JRPGs, where millions of people can play, socialize, and create their own unique experience together,” the developer said back in 2019 when the game launched on Kickstarter and smashed its funding goal within four hours.

In other news, rumor has it that Hogwarts Legacy may be delayed again, and a bug that caused PS3 games to appear on the PS5 store got everyone excited for backwards compatibility.
