Horizon Call of the Mountain State of Play

Horizon Call of the Mountain Just One of the PSVR 2 Games at State of Play Tomorrow

Tomorrow’s PlayStation State of Play show will be 30 minutes long and promises to show us PSVR 2 games as well as games from Sony’s third-party partners. While Sony will be trying its hardest to prevent any leaks from emerging before the show, the company couldn’t help but tease Horizon Call of the Mountain as one of the PSVR 2 games due to be shown at State of Play tomorrow.

Another brief look at Horizon Call of the Mountain

In the process of teasing the appearance of Horizon Call of the Mountain in the PlayStation State of Play show, Sony released another brief 20-second teaser that showed a completely different perspective of the underneath of a Tallneck. You certainly wouldn’t want to be underneath their feet for long. The brief teaser did show off tighter graphics than those in the original trailer at the start of the year. We don’t know exactly how much footage we’ll see from the game tomorrow but tune in at 3 pm Pacific / 6 pm Eastern / 11 pm BST on Youtube or Twitch to catch a glimpse.

Call of the Mountain is the only game that has been confirmed to be at the show, although rumors have been circulating all week. Jeff Grubb claims Street Fighter 6 will also be making an appearance, but most of the other supposed State of Play lists have been debunked as fake. These lists included games that could quite likely make an appearance, like Stray and Forspoken. There were also the more fantastical games like “Project Destructive” and PSVR 2 functionality for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. What do you think will be on the show on June 2?

In other news, the leak that predicted this month’s PS Plus Essential games to include God of War has proven to be correct. Elsewhere, Take-two Interactive’s CEO agrees with Sony that launching games onto subscription services is not financially viable.
