The first week of October is kicking off a big month of releases. The list of new games coming out on PS5 and PS4 during the week of October 3-9, 2022, is headlined by Blizzard Entertainment’s hero shooter Overwatch 2. There are quite a few new game releases on both consoles this week, and with the games covering quite a few genres, there should be something for everyone.
All PS5 and PS4 October 3-9 game release dates
The start of the month brings a smaller number of games as there are nine games coming to PS5, while PS4 players get a choice of 13 new game releases. The biggest of those is Overwatch 2 as the free-to-play game takes the place of Overwatch. Still, there’s also an ABBA-themed karaoke game, the biggest off-road rally racer, and an adventure for the L.O.L. Surprise! dolls. Of course, there are the usual pay-for-Platinum games out this week too. Here are all of the PS5 and PS4 games currently due to be released throughout the week of October 3-9, 2022.
