Two highly sought after PS5 covers, Galactic Purple and Midnight Black, are finally back in stock at PS Direct. At the time of this writing, almost all colors are available for both digital and disc-based PS5 consoles.
PS5 covers price and availability
The official covers aren’t as widely available as other console accessories so if you don’t want to settle for knock offs or third-party covers, PS Direct is your best bet right now. The covers cost $54.99 each regardless of the color, but Galactic Purple and Midnight Black covers have been hard to come by.

Unfortunately, the Gray Camouflage remains out of stock for both digital and disc-based PS5s, with no ETA. Other colors available at the time of this writing are Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Cosmic Red.
PS5 covers originally released a year ago and, much like the console itself, haven’t been widely available. Now that Sony claims that the PS5 stock shortage is over, it remains to be seen if we’ll see better availability.
We’ll update our readers when Gray Camouflage is back in stock, but if you want Purple or Black covers, we suggest not wasting any time.
