A Call of Duty live action TV series has reportedly been leaked online from an Italian independent production house. The series is yet to be officially announced but will apparently feature many renowned characters from the Modern Warfare era of games.
Which characters will star in the Call of Duty TV series?
The live action TV show is expected to focus on the exploits of Task Force 141. Photos that have leaked from the set feature all of the Task Force members including Lieutenant General Shepherd, Captain John “Soap” MacTavish, Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley, Sergeant Gary “Roach” Sanderson, and Captain John Price. The video of the photos that was compiled by @UAGNA on Twitter also shows a female hostage, but apart from that the plot of the TV series isn’t known.
According to the leaker, the episodes will be about 15 minutes long each. No funding has been provided by anyone aside from the independent production house, so it is likely this will end up being a web series rather than a record-breaking TV show like The Last of Us. How much official involvement there has been from Activision Blizzard or any of the Call of Duty developers like Infinity Ward, Treyarch, or Sledgehammer Games, remains to be seen. However, an announcement is expected soon.
