The Last of Us episode 8 beats episode 5 on IMDB

The Last of Us Episode 8, ‘When We Are In Need’, currently has a 9.6 on IMDB with over 10,000 user ratings, which now means it’s the highest-rated episode of the series as of the time of writing this. The current standings of the ratings are as follows:

  • Episode 8- 9.6
  • Episode 5- 9.5
  • Episode 1- 9.2
  • Episode 2- 9.1
  • Episode 6- 8.9
  • Episode  4- 8.4
  • Episode  3- 8.0
  • Episode 7- 7.4

As you may have already noticed, the bottom two episodes on this list are both episodes that prominently feature LGBT characters (Bill and Frank in episode 3, Riley and Ellie in episode 7) and have been noted to have been review-bombed in the past, making the ratings for those episodes altogether unreliable.

The Last of Us is considered by many to be one of the best video game adaptations of all time and is considered by some to have broken the curse of videogame adaptations that has dogged the genre for so long.

In other The Last of Us news, a multiplayer developer has discussed adding doors to the game, and fans of the show are wondering where the infected have been.
