Sony recently added even more games to its Holiday Sale on the PlayStation Store. The ongoing promotion brings amazing prices to some of the best PS4 and PS5 games the digital storefront has to offer. That includes this underrated RPG shooter that was originally released in 2021.
Outriders is under $8 on the PS Store
Developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix, Outriders is currently $7.99 on the PS Store. That is a 60% discount from its usual $19.99 price tag. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on January 22 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
Here is a description and trailer of the game, giving players an idea of what to expect from Outriders:
“As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal.”
It should be noted that there is no offline mode for Outriders, even in single player. However, a PS Plus subscription is not required to play the game in single player. A subscription is required to play the game in multiplayer.
When Outriders was originally released in 2021, it was met with some mixed reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 73 across 48 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it an 8 out of 10.
