PS5 accessory FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick

PlayStation 5 Accessory Delayed Less Than a Month Before Launch

In a rare move, Sony Interactive Entertainment has indefinitely delayed the release of a major upcoming PS5 accessory. The FlexStrike wireless fight stick was originally set for an August 2026 launch. It will now release “at a later date.”

PS5 FlexStrike wireless fight stick accessory will now launch after Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

The FlexStrike fight stick was set to coincide with the launch of the upcoming Sony-published game, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. It made sense to bundle and promote the two together, so it remains to be seen how this delay will affect FlexStrike’s sales.

“Due to unexpected production delays, FlexStrike wireless fight stick will launch at a later date,” Sony said in a statement. We’re working to ensure we deliver the best possible experience to our players with FlexStrike, so we’re taking extra time to put the finishing touches on the product. We apologize for this delay and look forward to bringing the FlexStrike experience to the community when it launches.”

Players who’ve preordered FlexStrike via PS Direct will receive an update via the website. Sony has asked players who’ve preordered via select retailers to contact their store for further updates.

The FlexStrike will cost $199.99 USD | €199.99 EURO | £179.99 GBP | ¥34,980 JPY.
