A brand new action role-playing PlayStation 5 game is now available, with a cheap price tag, on the PS Store. The newly launched title comes from the independent studio ProbablyMonsters.
Crimson Moon has finally released for the PS5 and fans can purchase it for just $19.99 via the PlayStation Store. Its latest launch trailer showcases what players can expect from the gameplay.
It’s a gothic high renaissance action-adventure RPG, featuring a campaign mode that can be played solo or in a team of two in an optional online co-op mode.
Crimson Moon has earned mostly positive early reactions from critics. It becomes evident from its reception on OpenCritic where reviewers have admired the overall combat experience.
What is happening in Crimson Moon’s trailer?
The launch trailer for Crimson Moon shows the vast world built around intense, replayable quests that combine brutal precision with deep character progression.
The gameplay sees players taking on the role of the Nephilim, powerful human-angel hybrids who are bound to a dark prophecy and charged with reclaiming the besieged city of Gildenarch from a horde of demons, undead, vampires, and Hellgrowth abominations.
Crimson Moon offers a high octane combat, focusing on precision and timing, combining deliberate melee strikes, fluid weapon combinations, stylish executions, and explosive celestial transformations that can instantly flip the course of a fight.
Players try to master brutal, tactical combat while discovering new powerful weapons, armor, and gear through the city’s cathedrals, battlements, and shadowed districts.
In the game’s incursions, players also encounter elite enemies, secret areas, and rare loot, while evolving enemy configurations and escalating challenges ensure that no two adventures play out the same way. Additionally, they can also refine their builds, craft gear, upgrade abilities, and prepare themselves for the next assault between missions.

He tried to highlight how his team’s goal was to make a focused action-adventure RPG with an inspired gothic world “where every fight feels powerful and every run gives players new ways to improve. We can’t wait to see how players make the Nephilim their own.”
Crimson Moon is now available for PS5 alongside Xbox Series X|S and PC. Additionally, players can also choose to pick up its Deluxe Edition for $29.99. Besides the base game, it offers to an upcoming DLC expansion alongside the Ceremonial Armor Set and the guitar-shaped Axe of the Gods weapon cosmetic.
