PlayStation has unveiled Grand Theft Auto VI limited-edition DualSense controllers. These controllers capture the essence of the coastal metropolis within the GTA world. The DualSense controllers will be available in two themes. Pre-orders will open this September.
At PlayStation’s State of Play, the console designers revealed two new editions in their controller collection inspired by Grand Theft Auto’s Vice City. Pre-orders for the DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and the DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition start on September 10, 2026.
These controllers can be purchased globally on the PlayStation Direct website. It will officially launch on November 19, 2026. These can also be purchased at participating local retailers and game stores after the launch.

How GTA VI’s Vice City influence shapes the DualSense design
In the Grand Theft Auto world, Vice City is one of the playable cities inspired by Miami. The fictionalized city was one of the first three cities introduced to players. This city will return as the setting for 2026’s most anticipated game, GTA VI.
The DualSense controllers take inspiration from the sun-soaked city. The devices are engraved with the tropical aspects of Vice City. Moreover, to celebrate the launch of the sixth installment in the game’s franchise, the controllers are engraved with a VI at the center, along with the iconic palm trees seen in the fictionalized city.
Additionally, the themes for these DualSense devices feature a soft retro-neon glow inspired by the vibrant 1980s Miami that Vice City evokes.
Apart from the exterior aesthetics that mimic the GTA city, the device functions as a normal PlayStation DualSense controller. It creates an immersive gaming experience with dynamic haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. These respond to the main characters’ actions in real time during gameplay.
According to PlayStation’s Blog, the recommended retail price for the DualSense controllers inspired by GTA’s Vice City is $84.99.
