In the last big week of new releases at retail this year in the UK, The Last Guardian debuted in 7th overall, while Dead Rising 4 opened in 5th. Looking at the individual format chart, Dead Rising 4 for Xbox One placed in 3rd, and The Last Guardian for PlayStation 4 finished in 5th.
For comparison, Ico opened in 15th for PlayStation 2 back in 2002, and Shadow of the Colossus opened in 1st for PS2 in 2006. In terms of week one unit sales, The Last Guardian outperformed both titles.
Final Fantasy XV, meanwhile, dropped by 75% in its second week, placing in 4th.
