PS5 RPG The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

PS5 Users Can Now Try Intriguing New Square Enix RPG for Free

Square Enix has stealth-dropped a free playable prologue for its promising upcoming PS5 RPG on the PS Store. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is brought to us by the developers of Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default, and you can check it out right now.

PS5 RPG The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will launch in June 2026

The Adventures of Elliot Prologue Demo is out now on the PS Store in all regions, and you don’t need a PS Plus subscription to play. However, if you do have a Premium membership, then you can skip downloading and cloud stream the demo.

All your progress will carry over to the full game, provided you use the same PlayStation accounts for both the demo and the game.

“Enjoy the opening chapter of the story with the same freedom of adventure as in the full game,” says Square Enix. “Progress in the main quest, explore the unknown, or hunt down new weapons and magicite — the future is up to you. Your adventure in Philabieldia, a world filled with discovery, starts here!”

The demo does limit players’ access to certain areas, and you cannot redeem “save data bonuses,” per Square Enix.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will launch on June 18, 2026.
