[shal]Naughty Dog[/shal] co-founders [shal]Jason Rubin[/shal] and [shal]Andrew Gavin[/shal] dropped off the map after leaving their highly respected game studio in 2004 to seek new ventures in the game industry. The two, along with Jason Kay of Flektor fame, have finally revealed their new company, Monkey Gods.

Monkey Gods is a social gaming startup that will focus on the development and distribution of games for the iPhone, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and various social networks. Their first two titles set for release this year are Snood, a re-invention of the original PC title by the same name, and Monkwerks, a word challenge game with multiplayer support. You can read more about the team at the official Monkey Gods website.
