Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2‘s launch that shows cutscenes and various gameplay from the game.

At the beginning of the trailer, Lightning is shown kneeling in front of a white throne surrounded by crystals. Lightning and Noel are then shown on a white mechanical creature in flight, then jumping off of it onto the roof of a building. Mog is with them and transforms into a weapon for Noel. Then, an in-game cutscene sequence is shown, with Noel coming to Serah’s rescue. Noel and Serah are then shown in front of a crystal. Caius is shown battling the Shiva sisters and dispensing of them quite easily. The next part is of Noel and Serah battling a monster, before switching to a Cinematic Action scene of them battling another monster, with Snow protecting them. Various gameplay is then shown, including a Paradigm, a Feral Link, Mog treasure hunting, the Mog Clock, and more battle scenes before a scene of Lightning and Caius in battle is shown to close the trailer.
