Map Pack DLC for Medal of Honor: Warfighter is Based on the Hunt for Bin Laden

Danger Close is stepping into controversial territory with its first planned batch of downloadable content for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The map pack features locations based on upcoming film Zero Dark Thirty, which chronicles America’s hunt for Bin Laden.

The appropriately dubbed Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack will launch on December 17th bearing a $9.99 price tag, though those who get the Limited Edition version of the game will receive the content for free.

The DLC will include two maps, the first being the Darra Gun Market, which is set in Pakistan’s “flourishing arms bazaar.” The second map is called Chitral, and features a more rural location that is controlled by tribes.

The pack is part of a partnership with Sony Pictures and includes a $1 million minimum donation that will be sent to benefit the veterans of North America.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is set to arrive on store shelves October 23rd.
