The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct’s First Gameplay Trailer is Out Now, Doesn’t Feature any Crossbows

Update: One of Swords and Penny Arcade have now reported that The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct trailer below is actually a fan edit of an earlier build of the game, based off of footage from IGN’s Up At Noon. It is in no way official and we apologize for posting the video thinking it was.

Original Story: The very first gameplay trailer for Terminal Reality’s upcoming The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct hit the internet on December 25th, meaning that it passed by our all-knowing crystal balls until today.

Following brothers Merle and Daryl Dixon, Survival Instinct will have them traveling through Georgia during the early days of the infection, trying to reach Atlanta.

Although the trailer only tells us that the game has a ‘2013’ release date, our best guess is that it will release in either September or October, to coincide with the start of Season 4 of The Walking Dead TV show. And, if you’d like even more TWD this year, don’t forget that Telltale is hard at work prepping season 2 of their downloadable series.
