The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Release Date Changed, You Can Now Kill Zombies Earlier

It was announced earlier this month that The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct would be coming to PlayStation 3 on March 26th, but as Activision revealed to us, that has now been changed.

PlayStation 3 (and Xbox 360) owners will be able to get their hands on Survival Instinct Tuesday, March 19th, with Wii U owners still having to wait until the 26th. With this bump up, Europe will also likely be getting the game on March 22nd, one week earlier than previously announced.

A reason wasn’t given for the move up, though with BioShock Infinite, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, and Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel out on March 26th, it was likely changed to avoid being overshadowed.

Do you think releasing one week earlier is a good move on Activision’s part? Let us know in the comments below.
