Battlefield 4 Confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One, October 29th Release Date on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC (Update: China Rising Pre-Order DLC, E3 Multiplayer Reveal)
Update: When you pre-order Battlefield 4 before launch, you’ll be given the China Rising expansion absolutely free. Included in this is four new maps set across the Chinese mainland, allowing you to use new vehicles and military equipment.
Also, during EA’s press conference on June 10th at E3 2013, they’ll be showing off a live demo of Battlefield 4’s multiplayer.
Original Story: It may have skipped the Xbox One reveal altogether, but Battlefield 4 delivered on its original promise of “big announcements.”
On the game’s official Facebook page, they confirmed that it will be headed to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 29th (now a VERY busy day), with a next-gen release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One also happening. As an added bonus, you can also sign up for when pre-orders are going to be available on each platform here.
Also, we doubt that the filler PS4 box art used on the website is real, but here it is if you want to see the mock-up:
