With gamescom over a month away, we didn’t think we’d hear much about any new games just yet, but Sony has released a mysterious teaser that seems to be for a new title.
Sony released the following image on Twitter and Facebook with no accompanying explanation:
Here’s what we know so far about every unannounced PS4 exclusive, but this could very well be a Vita title or something else entirely.
Do you have any theories? Is it based on the Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer sci-fi novel of the same name, the Super Stardust spiritual successor, or is it a new IP? Sound off in the comments below.
Update: As some commenters have pointed out, the image does bear some similarities to a secret image in God of War: Ascension. Developer Sony Santa Monica have been working on a new IP since the release of GOW III.
