UK Sales Charts: Killzone: Mercenary has the 5th Biggest Launch Week for a PS Vita Game, Saints Row IV Three-peats

Not even a drop of 48% could keep Saints Row IV from finishing first in the UK for a third week in a row, which suggests that Saints Row IV debuted to huge numbers when it launched, or all the other new releases didn’t do very well.

Speaking of those new releases, Diablo III placed in third, Farming Simulator 2013 was 10th, and Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate was 35th, while Killzone: Mercenary started its run in eighth, marking the fifth biggest launch week ever for a PlayStation Vita title. Meanwhile, PayDay 2 rose 51% and finished in seventh, where Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn dropped a whopping 80% to place in 11th.

Here’s the top 19 selling games in the UK for the week ending September 7th:

  1. Saints Row IV
  2. Rome: Total War II
