Having already surpassed 3 million downloads on PC when it launched earlier this year, Edge of Reality has announced that Loadout, their F2P shooter, will be a PlayStation 4 console exclusive.

Offering up “billions of ways” to shoot somebody’s legs off, check out the good clean fun of Loadout in this PS4 reveal trailer:

Following up on that billions of ways to kill people promise, Loadout allows you to “concoct the weapon of your dreams and/or nightmares from hundreds of component parts, and share their payloads with your friends in fast-paced matches, with violently comedic results. Giant death beam? We’ve got it covered. Bouncy Tesla balls? Sure. Laser-guided cluster-bomb rockets? Hey, we’re not here to judge. Loadout has literally billions of different weapon combinations, and you can wield every last one of them once we launch on PS4. We’re going to be adjusting all the scopes and balancing the barrels so your weapons of choice feel right at home on DualShock 4.”

One of the standouts about Loadout is the visuals, which allow you to see the effects of you shooting someone, with limbs and heads being severed off, holes being carved into people’s bodies, and more.

When asked about whether Loadout will be 30fps or 60fps, Creative Director Mark Nau said:

I have engineers in the building who will murder me with axes if I make crazy promises, but I can say this: Our top people say they are shooting for 60, and are confident it can be reached. Shipping at 30 and later updating to 60 is a possibility, but not ideal. They will know more once they’ve had a chance to get in and optimize.

As of right now, Loadout doesn’t have a release window on PS4.
