Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd PS3, PS Vita Release Date Confirmed

Probably not releasing as soon as you would have liked, Sega has announced that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd will be available on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe. A PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita title, you’ll be able to buy the game in either retail stores or the PlayStation Store.

For those of you who wish to pre-order Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd, GameStop USA is offering two costume modules – the Extra Character Pack containing Akita Neru, Yowane Haku, and Kasane Teto, as well as Hatsune Miku’s Americana Module – for free. Other retailer pre-order promotions should be announced soon.

Sega also said:

Players who already picked up Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F for PlayStation 3 or PlayStation VITA and already own the Extra Character Pack will receive these characters for free! This is our gift back to the fans who helped support Hatsune Miku in the west!

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd features twenty classic songs from the previously Japan-only PSP games making their first debut in the West, and twenty brand new songs to the Project DIVA series.  In addition to the new songs, the game will feature updated gameplay mechanics and controls, more than 80 brand new and remade fan favorite modules, cross-save compatibility, Markerless AR Mode (PlayStation Vita) and a revamped edit mode ranking system that showcases the most popular user generated content to provide gamers the best music game experience on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems.
