The third update for SHAREFactory on PlayStation 4 is now live, adding a new horror theme, support for high quality microphones, improvements to audio playback and export quality, and more, as you can read in the patch notes:

  • Added a new Horror theme
  • Support for High Quality microphones

  • Ability to set transition volume
  • Ability to adjust filter effects
  • 1 new filter effect
  • Auto-trim clips if they do not fit into the project timeline

Sony Computer Entertainment Senior Producer Stuart Platt added on Twitter, “A late addition was also made to allow for video clip audio to play back while recording commentary using headphones. Enjoy!”

Platt was also asked if they could add the ability to speed up or slow down clips. He replied, “We are aware this is a requested feature from lots of players. We would love to get it in sometime in a future update.”
