BFHardline

Welcome to PlayStation LifeStyle’s Trophy Guide for Battlefield Hardline! There are 41 Trophies to earn and they are pretty easy to collect. This Platinum Trophy will require at least two playthroughs of the single-player. which isn’t too bad, as the missions and overall story is pretty short. Battlefield is known for its multiplayer but out of the 41 Trophies, only three of them are tied to multiplayer. They are fairly easy, but will require a bit of a time investment to unlock them. As for single-player, story is divided up into 10 Episodes. There are some Episode specific Trophies, if you don’t unlock them across your two playthroughs, you can use chapter select to track them down.

Spoiler Alert: There are spoilers within the guide. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers, it’s recommended that you complete the game before reading any further.

It’s not that hard, but there are ways to make it easier for yourself. If you play with a maxed out character, you’ll have most of the better weapons unlocked and you’ll have a better idea of the layouts of each mission.

Most of the enemy groups, you can sneak around go for straight for the objective. If you have to take out enemies, try to do it quietly and stealthily. For the fire fights, just stick to cover and aim for the head. Tagging enemies with the scanner will help as well.

One Good Cop – Silver

– Reach Expert level 15 in single-player.

This Trophy will unlock as you play through the game. It will unlock very quickly if you’re collecting evidence and arresting the enemies with warrants. You’ll gain 100 points for take downs, 250 points for arrests, 500 for completing objectives and 1,000 for arresting enemies with warrants. Your level carries over across play throughs, so, if you don’t get to 15 on your first time through, you’ll get it on your Hardline run.

World’s Greatest Detective – Gold

– Complete all case files in single-player.

The evidence and warrants are considered the collectibles in Hardline. For the warrants, you cannot kill them. They first need to be identified with the scanner, by pressing and holding X. You’ll know when you have tagged an enemy with a warrant by the icon that will appear over his head. You can either taze or arrest these enemies. Press start to view how many warrants are available in your current mission. If they spot you, they cannot be subdued while they are attacking you.

The case files are made up of individual pieces of evidence. Collect all of the evidence and you’ll complete all of the case files. When you’re near a piece of evidence, your scanner will make a noise and the controller will vibrate. Turn on your scanner and the evidence will be highlighted. Hold X to analyze the evidence and it will be “collected.”

Some evidence can be found on the bodies of the enemies with warrants. After subduing them, some will have the option to “Search”. Hold Square to search them and you’ll collect the evidence.

There are no warrants or evidence in Episode five.
