While video game mods are generally just available on PC, Just Cause 3 might be bringing mods to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One when it releases.
When speaking on GameSpot’s E3 2015 stage, Avalanche Studios Game Director Roland Lesterlin was asked if Just Cause 3 might have mod support, seeing as Fallout 4 will have mod support on the Xbox One. While Lesterlin didn’t officially announce anything, he did say that “we’ve been wanting to do quite a lot of that stuff for awhile.”
We’ve been wanting to do quite a lot of that stuff for awhile. We’re not announcing anything there yet, but… we would want to support [mods] as much as possible.
Just Cause 3 is set to come out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year What type of mods do you hope to see on consoles?
