Japanese Sales Chart: Big Star Wars Battlefront Debut Helps PS4 Hardware Stay at the Top

Falling short of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s launch by 20,000 units, Star Wars Battlefront on PlayStation 4 debuted in first place last week, moving 124,000 copies.

Thanks to Battlefront, PS4 hardware was able to rise by a couple thousand units to 29,000, holding off the surging New 3DS LL.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling retail games in Japan from November 16 – November 22, 2015, according to Media Create:
