When the Destiny weekly reset happens on Tuesday, December 29, Sparrow Racing League will disappear, but Iron Banner will return.

Going live shortly after 10am PT/1pm ET on December 29, Iron Banner’s mode this time around is Control. As Bungie adds, “Champions who rank up can acquire endgame gear from the Lord himself, or from drops that arrive at the end of completed matches.”

Available for one week, the gear includes Auto Rifles, Shotguns, Titan Armor, Hunter Armor, Warlock Armor, and some PlayStation-exclusive armor (see image above).

Here’s how you can get the items:

Available from Lord Saladin

  • Rank 3 – Boots
  • Rank 4 – Helmets, Auto Rifles
  • Rank 5 – Shotgun

Available as post-game drops

  • Rank 2 – Helmets
  • Rank 3 – Class Items, Auto Rifles
  • Rank 4 – Shotgun

Since the release of Destiny update 2.1.0 earlier this month, these are the issues Bungie is tracking right now:

  • Gear obtained through the SRL Record Book, Vol. 1 can only be acquired once. Please use caution when dismantling items. We are investigating the potential for a future fix to allow players to attain additional instances in case of accidental deletion.
  • We have implemented a temporary fix to remove an issue where players who were actively racing in SRL were being returned to Orbit for Inactivity.
  • We are continuing to investigate issues impacting the Quest step ‘More Bullets’: As a temporary fix, players are not required to complete this Quest step to earn the next step of the ‘Crucible Forged’ Quest chain. Until resolved, players will not be able to complete ‘More Bullets’. This will be addressed in a future update.
  • We have resolved an issue where Exotic Weapon Reprises introduced with Update 2.1.0 could not be transferred using the Destiny Companion App.
  • We are investigating an issue where players are reporting that the Postmaster currently displays a waypoint, but does not have anything for the player to collect.

If you missed the news back on Tuesday, Bungie released Level 25 packs for $29.99 each, which allow your Warlock, Titan, or Hunter to reach Level 25.
