Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has announced that Shadow of the Beast will be releasing on disc in Asia. You can see what the game’s cover will look like in the image above.
The Asian disc release will include both English and Chinese subtitles, and will be out later this month. If you want the disc, you can grab one from Play-Asia for $19.99.
Developer Heavy Spectrum recently announced that Shadow of the Beast will include the original Amiga game as a bonus. We’re not exactly sure how we can unlock the bonus yet but Heavy Spectrum’s Matt Birch said, “It’s something of a notoriously difficult game, so we’ve added an infinite lives mode and some other helpful features that should give you a fighting chance of reaching the end — these can be disabled for anyone brave enough!”
Shadow of the Beast releases via the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe on May 17.
