Conan Exiles’ Sales Exceed Expectations, Coming to PS4 in Q1 2018

In its latest financial report covering the fourth quarter of 2016, Conan Exiles developer Funcom has announced that the game has surpassed expectations and due to its rapid success, the studio will increase its investment into the project.

While we already know that a PlayStation 4 version is in the works, the report reveals that it’ll be out in Q1 2018 alongside a full release for the Xbox One and PC. The open-world survival game is currently in early access and will enter Xbox One Game Preview program in fall 2017.

Conan Exiles‘ sales have performed extremely well,” reads the report. “It has sold more than 480,000 units the first 28 days after launch.” Funcom was expecting the game to sell 487,000 units in an entire year so that’s some pretty good news for the developer.

The report further notes that this was the first time in Funcom’s modern history that a project’s direct cost was covered in less than seven days. Conan Exiles is already profitable.

We’ll update our readers when a release date is announced.
