Sony was going to surprise everyone with this announcement. Famitsu figured it was best to cut to the chase and let Japan know what was going on. Famitsu is beloved for that. Sony is releasing two new 80GB bundles in Japan. One will feature Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and the other will feature LittleBigPlanet. The Gran Turismo bundle will cost the current 40GB bundle price, but will also come with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec III, the latest version of the game. The LittleBigPlanet Bundle will come with 2 Dualshock 3 controllers and, you guessed it, LittleBigPlanet. This will cost you 44, 980 yen. Not bad at all.
Sony will also sell LBP and DS3s bundle together. It is a good way to market the multiplayer component of the game. You do not have to buy LBP in some bundled state. It will be available for purchase alone. Buying it this way will give you the Ape Escape costume pack.
