Geoff Keighley Teases Big Sony Project

The action-filled God of War III footage on GTTV’s latest episode put the gaming world in a jaw dropping frenzy. In other words – it was utterly breathtaking. But if you think Sony Santa Monica’s God of War III is the end of the line for Sony’s PlayStation 3, then you’re in for a rude awakening.

Can any Sony first party studio knock God of War III’s stature as one of the best games that will ever brace the PlayStation 3? Maybe not, but a recent hint from GameTrailers Geoff Keighley could suggest that Sony could possibly top Kratos’ upcoming adventure with someone as big or even bigger.

When a tweeter messaged Keighley the following: “can’t believe how amazing God of War 3 looks. Sony’s first party developers really seem like they’re on another level!”, he replied:

Wait until you see what they are doing next….very soon on GTTV!

The GTTV presenter is most likely referencing to Sony’s first party studios when he says “they”. Although Geoff Keighley could be teasing the announcement of a new PlayStation 3 exclusive, don’t get your hopes up before the show. However, Sony do hold an annual  ‘Destination PlayStation’ event, which frequently is filled with PS3 game announcements before E3 hits in June, so Keighley’s teaser announcement may make an appearance in the PlayStation based event.

Killzone 3, Resistance 3 or inFamous 2? Maybe something new? We can only hope. Thankfully, GTTV will be showing off whatever is in store for PlayStation 3 owners in the near future.
