Almost a year ago, Sony revealed a plethora of gaming news on the Gamescom stage including the unforgettable PS3 Slim announcement which shook the gaming industry. Now that the same stage is being prepared for more excitement during mid-August, many are craving information for their favorite upcoming titles. Fans of Square Enix have plenty to look forward to based on the official lineup for the company this year.

Square Enix has released the full list of titles that it will be showing during Gamescom this year. The games include the following:

  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • Final Fantasy XIV
  • Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light
  • Front Mission Evolved
  • Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days
  • Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
  • Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Out of those, all but Final Fantasy: The Heroes of Light will be available on a PlayStation platform. While Final Fantasy XIV’s recent release discrepancy for the PS3 stirred a bit of controversy, it is still shaping up to presumably be a successful MMO title. With only about a week separating us between now and the European Gamescom convention, there is plenty to look forward to for fans of the PS3 and Square Enix alike.
