November 8, 2010Written by Cameron Teague

God Eater: Burst has released in the land of the rising sun and first week sales are looking extremely impressive. The game which released for the PlayStation Portable has raked in 263,150 copies sold and tops the Japanese Charts. This was not the only good bit of news for Sony as 11 of the top 20 games were released on the PS3 or PSP.

There was another impressive first week release in Japan with World Soccer Winning Eleven 2011 coming in 2nd with 215, 227 sold. Vanquish stayed just inside the top 15th, coming in 14th with 14, 042 for the week and 62, 360 overall. Let’s hope these strong sales continue and we cannot wait to play the game when it releases stateside December 1st.
