With all the talk surrounding Final Fantasy XIII-2, many of you might have forgotten about a tiny little game for the PSP called Final Fantasy Type-0. According to director Hajime Tabata, who posted on the game’s official development blog, the game is near competition with only tuning and debugging left to do.
Type-0 has been in development for almost four years now and while Tabata did say that felt like a long time to him, he did note that The 3rd Birthday was a primary focus for about a year of that. With the extra time, the development team was able to polish the game and fill it with more content.
Square Enix has released four very tiny videos detailing different aspects of the upcoming game, which you can view below.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is set for release in Japan later this year.
