Bungie Game Codenamed Tiger, Logo Shown in 20th Anniversary Video

Creators of the fantastic Halo series, Bungie have never made a game for the PlayStation 3. That’s why we were so ecstatic when the developer announced a massive 10-year publishing deal with Activision back in April 2010, which would bring their games to multiple platforms, including PS3. Set in an entirely new universe, virtually nothing is known about the new game, but thankfully Bungie’s 20th Anniversary video has let some new details slip.

In the 55 minute video titled “O Brave New World”, which you can view below, Bungie focuses on its past, present, and – most interestingly – its future. Near the end of the video, the game is revealed to be codenamed  Tiger, and a short clip is played of a desert landscape which could be from the game (around the 50 minute mark):

One Bungie developer said:

You feel responsible for not just telling an isolated story, but for building a universe that at some point is going to become more the fans’ than it is ours. It’s going to take a life of its own.

The logo shown above was also first spotted in May when the fake corporation Podophobia Entertainment filed a trademark for Destiny, with the same logo.

In addition, the words “My God, it’s full of stars!” flash up, a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Finally, we’ve spotted the a slide from a presentation that talks about “Gameplay Between Landmarks”:

The fact that landmarks are used in gameplay helps show just how large the game is.
