In EA and Starbreeze’s FPS version of the classic strategy franchise Syndicate, you’ll be taking down numerous enemy operatives, many of which will be heavily armed. Luckily, Syndicate‘s going to have quite the arsenal for the player to directly take on their opposition.
EA has released a new trailer for the game, which shows off the weapons available to the player. The trailer boasts that the game has 19 weapons, 87 attachments and 25 available upgrades. The trailer also talks specifically about some weapons that will be available, including a submachine gun, an “auto-shotgun,” a pistol, a sniper rifle and “an array” of tactical assault rifles.
Syndicate also has alternate fire modes for weapons (one was shown firing bullets around a pillar), EMP grenades (which disable surveillance devices, turrets, and shields), and super weapons (an electricity-firing “electron mace” and an appropriately named “swarm launcher” were shown). A minigun type of weapon was shown at the very end.

Syndicate will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on February 21, 2012.
