Prototype 2 Radnet Edition Comes With 55 Pieces of Content

Prototype 2 is getting a free special edition that will reward players with 55 pieces of content.

Prototype 2‘s Radnet Edition, a free special edition for the game, comes with access to 55 free pieces of content. The content is offered in waves for seven weeks beginning April 24th. Radnet content includes Events, friend vs. friend competitive score Challenges, and weekly themed “Rewards.” Rewards include behind-the-scenes videos from the development team and bonus Mutations for Sgt. James Heller in the game’s main campaign. As for platform exclusive content, PS3 version owners will receive five exclusive dynamic themes, whereas Xbox 360 version owners will receive exclusive five avatar accessories.

Rewards are earned by engaging in the content, scoring at least a bronze medal in each week’s Events, and achieving a minimal score threshold in the week’s Challenges.

Anyone who pre-orders the game at participating retailers will automatically receive the Radnet Edition. Radnet content is also available to anyone who purchases the game new while supplies last.

Also, players will be glad to know that Radnet content isn’t required to complete the game’s main story, as Radnet content exists completely outside of it. Players won’t miss any Achievements or Trophies by not having Radnet, either, as all of those are tied to the main story campaign.

Prototype 2 releases for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on April 24th.
