Namco Bandai Announces Wizard’s Edition For Ni no Kuni In Europe, NA

Namco Bandai has announced that a collector’s edition of upcoming RPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be coming to Europe and North America.

The publisher revealed that the limited-run Wizard’s Edition of Ni no Kuni is set for release across EMEA and Australasia, and includes:

  • A 300+ page hardback physical copy of The Wizard’s Companion, the spellbook that Oliver uses. The book also contains a bestiary of all of the creatures found in the game, along with in-depth item descriptions, spells, and history of the other world.
  • A plush doll of Oliver’s companion, Drippy
  • Exclusive “golden mite” and “golden drongo” DLC familiars

Also, when the game is pre-ordered at participating retailers, gamers will receive “flutterby” and “griffy” companions developed especially for the Western release of the game.

The Wizard’s Edition carries a price of $99.99 in the US, though the European price has not yet been revealed. The game can be pre-ordered here.

Ni no Kuni will release on January 25, 2013 across the EMEA and Asia-Pacific. The game will include both English and Japanese voiceovers as well as English, French, Spanish, Italian and German text. The game will release in North America on January 22nd.
