Sega Confirms NiGHTS HD Remake For PSN, XBLA, & PC This Fall

Sega has officially confirmed that a NiGHTS into dreams… HD remake will be headed to consoles and PC this fall.

On the SEGA Blog, the publisher officially confirmed that the image on their Facebook page was, in fact, teasing a NiGHTS into dreams… HD remake, which will be headed to PSN, XBLA, and PC (via digital download) this fall.

The HD remake of the classic Sega Saturn title will include improved HD graphics, a 16:9 aspect ratio, Achievement support, Trophy support, and the inclusion of leaderboards. Also, the game will include an optional “Saturn Mode” that will allow players to play through the game with the original graphics intact.

Chris Olson, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA, said:

The SEGA Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and NiGHTS into dreams… stands out as one of the most recognizable titles that found a home on the system. We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this fall.
