The God of War movie, which has been in the works for quite some time now, is going to get a complete reworking by film vets Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. Universal selected the two Saw creators to rewrite the movie, which was initially written by executive producer David Self.
This news comes from The Hollywood Reporter and is the first bit of juicy information we’ve heard about the game-based movie in quite some time. In addition to their work on the Saw franchise, Melton and Dunstan also have experience working alongside Guillermo del Toro on Pacific Rim. Not a bad resume if you ask me.
The next actual game in the series, God of War: Ascension is set to arrive on March 12th of next year. To stay up to date on the latest news regarding Kratos and the rest of the Olympian Gods, keep it locked to PlayStation LifeStyle.
